Extrication Training 2017
- Even in training, we “respond” with all the equipment we normally would use.
- EMS and Fire were there.
- Fire “on scene” first to determine safety.
- Fire secures vehicles so “patients” ad personnel stay safe.
- Using tools to cut the car and access the “patient”. (played by an EMS member)
- Learning how to use new equipment.
- Training on how to access a vehicle on its side.
- Safely removing the “patient”.
- Teaching the young how to roll the hose “the fireman’s way”.
